  • Ah shites, I forgot to upload a photo of the finished Beatles cake I made for Bianca!Weww, she loved it so much she didn’t want to eat it. Then decided to pick off the letters so that she could eat the cake. Then wanted to display them in her room. Then I told her to say hi to the billion ants in the morning.

  • It’s one of my best friends’ birthday today and I haven’t bought her present yet!

    This stresses me because I’m known for getting meaningful presents, so I presume there are expectations. All I know is that I’m also making her a cake. A Beatles one. So I promise to post a photo of the end result, even if it turns out to be a flop (which it most likely will).

  • I haven’t posted any of my Uni work in a while…

    So here’s the last couple of photo styling shoots I’ve done…

    This one was sort of boring, because the concept was specified (a Summer themed home wares shoot). But still turned out alright. Had to then turn it onto a home wares magazine cover. Bit dodge, but whatevs.

    This one was heaps more fun to do! Because I could pretty much style whatever merchandise I wanted to. So of course I chose something music related. (About 80% of my concepts are music related!) Thanks to Dean for letting me borrow his guitar! :D Dusty totes owned that photo!

    Aaaaand here’s a sneak peak of the next photo styling concept I’m working on.

    Ow shit it’s The Beatles hahaha. But George is being a hipster. (No he’s not wanking) It’s going to have the Abbey Road background but it’s going to be an advertisement for Vans, so the three on the right will be dressed in suits and shiz and the one of the left will be dressed in Vans clothing/shoes. And yeahhhhh, who actually cares about any of what I just said? Lmao

    Oh yes, I am in a massive Beatles mood tonight.
    I was heaps stressed out because I have to present a concept to my Photo Styling teacher tomorrow for an upcoming Location Shoot.
    Let’s just say I once again left my work last minute, and was struggling to think of what products/location to choose. 
    In the meantime I decided to listen to the Beatles, who inspired me and gave me the idea of doing an old-fashioned photo shoot with a record player/records/other cool vintage stuff. YAY!
