Hey there! I'm Karlye, a 21 year old Graphic Design student from Melbourne, who loves design.. Who would have thought!
I have the capacity to geek and am really just a big kid.
Music is my passion and one day I will marry Alex Turner.
So today my friend tried to convince me to come watch his mates band from Sydney busk their cool little tunes in the streets of Melbourne.
Considering it doesn’t take much to persuade me, before I knew it, I had ditched Uni and was there making friends with these really cool dudes, helping them carry their equipment as they changed locations on Bourke Street.
The video doesn’t do justice of how awesome their music is.
Factors which don’t help the matter:
Did I mention that they’re really cool dudes? Well they are. The singer/guitarist’s voice is so soothing, the violinist is just so entertaining - he has a little violin effects pedal! It’s wild! And the drummer is probably one of the best drummers I’ve seen! He was literally playing on a bucket and saucepan!
They’re called Set Sail by the way. And they’re about to do a little world tour. So look out for them! Such cool kids. They were telling people that my friend was their band manager, and that I was their groupie haha.
This is a really long caption, but I could honestly go on forever about how much their music brightened my day life! Saaa corny. Whatever. Listen. Like.

Oh yeah! Mumfords ftw! Just because it’s one of those songs that gets you tapping your foot, bopping your head, slapping your hand on your leg, or all of the above.
And also because Luke and Joel sang it on The X Factor. And we love Luke and Joel, don’t we?! …No? Just me?
